The Prosperity Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church of the Yukon Community was organized on May 17, 1828,  by Rev. Henry Bryson  ←(Click for travel journal) and Rev. John Renwick. The Rev. Bryson, later Dr. Bryson, was installed as pastor of this church on the day of its organization.

On September 28, 2003;  a congregational meeting was held  at the request of  the Rev. Charles F. Edgar to make a change and retire him  from his full time pastoral duties after 27 years and be the Pastor Emeritus of Prosperity and that the Rev. C. Dana Crowell be appointed to Pastor of Prosperity ARP Church in Taft. The Congregation voted to accept his request. Prosperity ARP Church Taft, Tennessee

On the Lord's Day we have Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. beginning with coffee and donuts and at 10:00 a.m. starts Sunday School. The Morning Worship Service starts at 11:00 a.m. 

Every Wednesday night we have Prayer Meeting and Bible Study starting at 7:00 p.m.
